Lincoln Military Housing & Barona Race Track present the 4th Annual "Salute the Military" Race Day Event

Planning is underway for another successful event on Armed Forces Day at the Barona Race Track this year! Last year over 1,400 of our military family members were treated to a day of roaring engines, lunch, children’s activities, family photos and much more all for FREE. We are pulling out all of the stops again this year and it will be an experience that is perfect for adults and children of all ages! Come spend the day with us and prepare yourself for a loud (we will be providing earplugs), exciting, and fast day of a racing on Barona’s 1/8 Mile Drag Strip.

This event is complimentary for Lincoln Military Housing Families ONLY.
Non-Lincoln Military Families are welcome to attend for $20 for adults and $10 for children under 18. (payable to the track on the event day & includes entrance to the venue only).

The sponsors who attended last year got to witness the impact of this day and how much the residents truly valued the event and enjoyed themselves. Sponsors helped impact over 1400 military members and their families. Over 100 of the fastest cars in Southern California competed in the racing. Due to the success of the 2011 event, we are anticipating a much higher attendance this year and need help from our sponsors. Yes, these are difficult economic times, but without these military families and the work that military housing provides us with, they could be much worse. The feedback we got from our residents was truly heartwarming. They expressed gratitude for having an entire day of fun without the concern of spending money, and many commented on how it was the type of event perfect for adults and children of all ages.

Take a moment and think of what life in the military family has been like the past 8 years. America has been continuously fighting two wars in the Middle East and our service members have been deployed multiple times for months and years while separated from the spouse, children and other loved ones who must go on with life while a part. Join us on this special day to say "Thank You" to these military members and their families on Armed Forces Day. We will pay tribute to them by creating a day of fun and creating family memories.

*Pre-registration is required but driver fees are not due until race day.

* Cars must be quicker than 7.00ET to compete in this event.*

Fees To Race

$50 - If your car is approved by the deadline. Fee includes car, driver, an event T-shirt and one meal ticket.
$75 - Only if there is space available after the deadline or the day of and your car must be quicker than 7.0 seconds. Fee includes car, driver and one meal ticket.
$10 - Crew must arrive with car and driver at the time of entry to the venue.
$20 - Spectators or crew arriving without car and driver
$10 - Youth 18 and under.

Spectator Information

Barona Race Day is almost here! This is a special event for military families who live in Lincoln Military Housing. These “spectators” will be treated to lunch and dinner, children’s activities, T-shirts, family photos and much more all for FREE. There will also be a ceremony held at 1:30 p.m. to salute the military and their family members, for their support and sacrifice. The ceremony will be announced as we get closer to the event.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation.
