Armed Forces Day – On Saturday, May 18th the 5th Annual "Barona Race Day Salute to the Military" will be hosted!  The past 4 years have been such a success for our military families and local drag racers that we are back for another exciting year of racing!  Military families will be treated to an experience that you cannot find anywhere else in San Diego.  Barona Race Track offers a 1/8 Mile Drag Strip where all the action will take place.

This is a special event for military families who live in Lincoln Military Housing.  These "spectators" will be treated to lunch, additional snacks, children's activities, T-shirts, a family photo and much more all for FREE. 

There will be a ceremony held to Salute the Military and their family members for their support and sacrifice.  More details to be announced.

"I cannot thank Lincoln enough for putting on this event.  My husband just returned from deployment and this was the perfect opportunity to spend the day as a family and have some fun.  Thank you for taking care of everything including lunch.  We really appreciate the family photo to capture this special memory," the Biggs Family, 2012 event attendee.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation.  Last year we raised over $20,400.32.  Let's see what we can do this year!

Drivers:  There is $5000 in prize money this year and all 1st place winners will receive an event logo trophy to take home!  Race Form Deadline is May 5th, go to driver section to fill out the form and submit.

Big Announcement: Don't miss the Jet Truck Exhibition during the Salute to the Military Celebration! Robinson Racing will be rocketing down the track in a J-60 Pratt & Whitney Powered Jet Truck and they say the track record of 3.69 sec at 213 mph is going down!
